LXI is conducting a search for a full time support engineer with one of the larger commercial companies. This is a high visibility role with challenging work, good pay, and benefits. The role will likely come with an emphasis on learning new technologies.
On-site position at the Customer Site in North Dallas region, TX, USA / Some remote possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is in the process of creating an enterprise-scale cloud environment, based on Ubuntu Server and its associated container technologies, for a large commercial customer in north of Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Summary:
Client is seeking a highly experienced SEC Reporting Manager to join small but effective team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant securities laws and regulations, including NASDAQ GAAP accounting rules and OTC reporting requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and filing of all required securities reports, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and proxy statements. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial statements and related disclosures.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, manage and own a growing realm of responsibility related to reporting and compliance for a robust organization
Manage the preparation and filing of all required securities reports, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and proxy statements
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial statements and related disclosures
Maintain and update the company's financial records in accordance with NASDAQ GAAP accounting rules and OTC reporting requirements
Review and analyze the company's financial statements and disclosures to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
Work closely with executive leadership and the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Liaise with external auditors and legal counsel to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Stay up-to-date with changes in securities laws and regulations and ensure the company is in compliance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Client SEC reporting manager is responsible for the preparation and filing of financial reports with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Some key responsibilities of a SEC reporting manager may include:
Ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and reporting requirements: This includes staying up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's financial reporting.
Managing the preparation of financial statements: The SEC reporting manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation of the company's financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
Coordinating with external audit teams: The SEC reporting manager works closely with the company's external auditors to ensure that all financial information is accurately reflected in the company's financial statements.
Reviewing and analyzing financial data: The SEC reporting manager must review and analyze the company's financial data to ensure that it is accurate and complete.
Managing the financial close process: The SEC reporting manager is responsible for managing the process of closing the company's books at the end of each reporting period.
Communicating with the company's management team: The SEC reporting manager must regularly communicate with the company's management team to ensure that they are aware of the company's financial performance and any issues that may impact financial reporting.
TARGET SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field: such as finance or business.
Professional certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
At least 7 years relevant work experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably in a public company setting.
Strong analytical skills - must be able to review and analyze large amounts of financial data and identify any issues or trends.
Excellent communication skills - Must be able to effectively communicate financial information to both internal and external stakeholders, including management, the board of directors, and external auditors.
Attention to detail and knowledge of SEC regulations and requirements of the SEC, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Extensive knowledge of NASDAQ GAAP accounting rules and OTC reporting requirements
Prior experience uplisting a company from OTC to NASDAQ desired
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Willingness to learn and grow within a rapidly changing environment.
